Pemuda asal Desa Sabale, Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan (Halsel) yang selama ini dikenal sebagai spesialis pencuri kotak amal di masjid dan musalah di Ternate itu akhirnya ditangkap.<\/p>\n<p>Warga Kelurahan Ubo-Ubo Kecamatan Ternate Selatan ini, dirungkus anggota Polsek Ternate Utara saat tengah asyik menikmati hasil jarahannya di sebuah tempat pijat plus di Lingkungan Lelong, Kelurahan Kampung Makassar Timur Senn (21\/6).<\/p>\n<p>Penangkapan RY bersama barang bukti (BB) berupa uang hasil curian kotak amal sebesar Rp. 533.500 ini, bermula saat polisi mendapati laporan adanya pencurian kotak amal dari warga di salah satu kelurahan. atas laporan itu, Polisi pun langsung turun mengambil hasil rekaman CCTV yang ada di masjid tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Kapolsek Ternate Utara, IPTU Jony Aryanto, mengatakan, RY termasuk spesialis pencurian kotak amal. Sebab pelaku mengakui telah menjalankan aksinya sejak Juli 2019. \u201cSudah 17 kali pelaku melakukan aksinya,&#8221; katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Saat menjalankan aksinya, pelaku menunggu masjid dalam keadaan sepi. Dia lalu mencungkil kotak amal menggunakan kunci pas. &#8220;Untuk mengelabui petugas, pelaku selalu mengganti pelat motornya tiap kali menjalankan aksinya,&#8221; ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Beberapa mesjid yang pernah digondol kotak amalnya oleh pelaku diantaranya Masjid Al Awabin, Kelurahan Sangadji, Masjid Ali Bachdar Kelurahan Toboleu, dan Masjid Taruqul Fala kelurahan toboleu.<\/p>\n<p>Sebagian besar uang jamaah itu dipakai tersangka berfoya-foya termasuk di beberapa tempat pijat plus yang ada di Ternate. \u201cSekarang kita sudah amankan yang bersangkutan dan beberapa alat bukti lain dan kita sedang berkoordinasi dengan Kejaksaan Negeri untuk segera dilayangkan Surat Perintah Dimulainya Penyidikan (SPDP) atas kasus ini,\u201dkatanya.<\/p>\n<p>Akibat perbuatannya, RY dijerat dengan pasal\u00a0 pasal 363 ayat (1) ke-5e dan pasal 362 KUHPidana. &#8220;Ancaman hukumannya lebih dari 7 tahun penjara,&#8221;
