HARIANHALMAHERA.COM–<\/strong><\/em>Sorotan atas maraknya kasus kecelakaan kerja di PT IWIP terus bergulir. Pemkab melalui Dinas Tenaga Kerja (Disnaker) Halteng didesak untuk segera melakukan invesitgasi.<\/p>\n

Deskaan ini disampaikan para OKP yang tergabung dalam aliansi gerakan kemanusiaan Pemuda dan Mahasiswa Halteng saat menggelar aksi demo di Kantor Bupati kemarin.<\/p>\n

Juardi Salasa, salah satu peserta demo dalam orasinya menyatakan, rentetan peristiwa laka kerja yang terjadi di PT IWIP dan telah memakan korban jiwa ini, harus disikapi secara serius dari semua pihak dalam memberikan perlindungan keselamatan kepada para karyawan yang sebagian besar adalah warga Halteng.<\/p>\n

“Kami yakin penerapan k3 PT. IWIP belum sesuai SOP. Itu terbukti dari rentetan peristiwa naas yang terjadi. Karena itu, kami mengutuk keras peristiwa kecelakaan kerja di PT. IWIP yang memakan korban jiwa.\u00a0 Nyawa manusia tidak diperdagangkan atau diperjual belikan,” tegas ketua Pemuda Pancasila Halteng ini.<\/p>\n

Pemkab kata dia harus secepatnya membentuk tim investigasi agar dapat melakukan penyelidikan terkait kasus kecelakaan kerja di PT. IWIP. “Dinas Ketenagakerjaan harus benar-benar bertanggung jawa atas peristiwa,” tandasnya sembari menambahkan, sangat menyesalkan sikap Pemerintah Daerah yang kurang merespon aksi kemanusiaan tersebut.<\/p>\n

Sayangnya, keinginan para Pendemu untuk hearing terbuka dengan Sekda Halteng Yanto M. Asri gagal. Ini lantaran aksi unjuk rasa itu tidak ada surat pemberitahuan ke Pemda.<\/p>\n

“Dasar saya untuk melaporkan ke pimpinan itu harus ada surat. Kemudian nanti ada arahan dari pimpinan untuk duduk bersama membahas tuntutan masa aksi,” kata Yanto.<\/p>\n

Dia menegaskan, Pemda bukannya tidak ingin bertatap muka dengan massa aksi. “Sebenarnya tadi kami ingin undang beberapa perwakilan untuk duduk bersama. Tetapi saya baru menanyakan surat izin masa aksi langsung marah dan meninggal tempat aksi. Jadi bukan kami yang tidak menerima kehadiran mereka,” tandasnya.
