HARIANHALMAHERA.COM–<\/strong><\/em>Hujan deras yang mengguyur Kecamatan Morotai Jaya sejak Minggu (16\/1) hingga Senin (17\/1) memicu Sungai Deremaake meluap. Akibatanya, sejumlah desa pun turut terendam banjir salah satunya di Desa Hapo.<\/p>\n

Sahdan Turege salah satu masyarakat Desa Hapo mengaku, akibat banjir tersebut, ratusan rumah warga terendam dengan ketinggian air hingga lultut orang deeasa.<\/p>\n

Bahkan, dia menyebut sebagiannya warga yang rumahnya terendam mengungsi ke rumah kerabat mengingat ketinggian air semakin bertambah. “Sekarang ketinggian rata-rata 30 hingga 50 sentimeter. Bahkan, banjir juga merusak pipa air minum warga,” katanya kepada Harian Halmahera Senin (17\/1)<\/p>\n

Agar air tidak semakin tinggi, warga setempat harus membuat jalur baru sungai, sehingga mengalir ke tempat lain dengan cara mengunakan alat tradisional yakni sekop dan cangkul<\/p>\n

Dia mengaku, banjir di Desa Hapo ini sudah berulang kali terjadi disaat musim hujan, namun tidak ada perhatian dari Pemkab Morotai. “Saya katakan hujan dengan durasinya lama dapat di kategorikan sebagai cuaca ekstrim yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor iklim yang bersifat global. Sementara itu, faktor penyebabnya ke dua kata dia, adalah karena adanya pembangunan jembatan di lokasi RT 04 lahan kampung baru yang waktu pemasangan Bronjong terlalu sempit bahkan sepotong sepotong”ujarnya<\/p>\n

Dirinya meminta Pemkab dalam hal ini Camat Morotai Jaya dan BPDB segera turutn ke lokasi agar dapat mengetahui kondisi dan keluhan warga setempat<\/p>\n

“Sampai saat ini camat maupun dinas terkait belum turun ke lokasi yang terdampak banjir, kami sebagai masyarakat sangat sesalkan dengan sikap pemerintah yang acuh terhadap bencana banjir yang ada”sesalnya<\/p>\n

Mereka berharap Badan Wilayah Sungai (BWS) Provinsi Malut bisa melalukan normalisasi sungai Deremaake, mengingat setiap banjir, sungai tersebut sering meluap hingga ke pemukiman warga. “Jika bisa BWS melakukan normalisasi sungai, sehingga tidak terjadi lagi luapan, karena warga setempat saat ini mengalami trauma”pungkasnya (cw\/pur)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
