Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama bulan Syawal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Namun perlu diketahui, saling bermaafan itu bukan hanya sekadar ritual atau perilaku terpuji. Saling bermaaf-mafan ternyata memberikan manfaat bagi kesehatan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Melansir CNNIndonesia.com, sebuah penelitian menunjukkan saling memaafkan baik untuk jantung. Penelitian ini dipublikasikan Journal of the American College of Cardiology. Isinya menyatakan, bermaaf-maafan merupakan bentuk meredakan amarah dan permusuhan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dalam studi diketahui, amarah yang terus-menerus tertanam di dalam diri bisa meningkatkan risiko penyakit jantung koroner. &#8220;Kemarahan adalah bentuk stres, dan ketika kita marah, seolah-olah kita menyalakan respons stres tubuh, secara kronis. Menyalakan respons ini menyebabkan kerusakan pada tubuh,&#8221; kata Neda Gould, psikolog klinis dari Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, dikutip dari CNN.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gould menjelaskan, saat memaafkan, respons stres yang menyebabkan kerusakan di dalam tubuh ini perlahan akan menghilang. &#8220;Tidak mengejutkan bahwa ketika kita memaafkan, kita dapat mulai mematikan respons stres dan perubahan fisiologis yang menyertainya,&#8221; ucap Gould.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Penelitian lain yang dipublikasikan di Journal of Health Psychology menyimpulkan, memaafkan dapat memperbaiki kesehatan mental yang sudah memburuk sekali pun. Studi yang diterbitkan di Annals of Behavioral Medicine juga mendapati bahwa seiring berjalannya waktu, memaafkan juga bermanfaat menurunkan stres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Peningkatan memaafkan dikaitkan dengan pengurangan stres, diikuti dengan penurunan gejala kesehatan mental,&#8221; tulis kesimpulan penelitian tersebut.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Untuk bisa memaafkan, dibutuhkan hati yang bisa menerima dengan ikhlas. &#8220;Agar hati kita sembuh, memaafkan adalah penting.
