HARIANHALMAHERA.COM–<\/strong><\/em>Sikap PT IWIP yang selama ini selalu tertutup, mendapat sorotan anggpta DPD asal Maluku Utara yang juga Sultan Tidore Husain Alting Sjah. Dalam kunjungannya ke PT IWIP pekan kemarin, dia meminta perusahaan terbuka kepada publik.<\/p>\n

“Dalam setiap progress yang dilakukan perusahaan, dapat diinformasikan kepada masyarakat. Sehingga, masyarakat bisa tahu apa yang telah dilakukan PT IWIP. “Sehingga masyarakat juga merasa memiliki,” katanya.<\/p>\n

Walau begitu, dalam kunjungan pertamanya ke IWIP itu, dia mendapatkan banyak informasi, tentang perkembangan PT IWIP dalam hal pengoperasian.<\/p>\n

“Saya belum bisa memberikan kesimpulan yang banyak, tapi saya bisa melihat ada perkembangan yang banyak dan progress yang positif tentang bagaimana perhatian IWIP, terhadap masalah ketenagakerjaan,” katanya<\/p>\n

Mantan Kadispar Ternate ini juga menyarankan ke depan, program-program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) bisa lebih ditingkatkan lagi. Perusahaan juga diminta menaruh perhatian di sektor pendidikan dan kesehatan, termasuk soal lingkungan.<\/p>\n

Ia yakin IWIP punya rencana yang matang dalam pengelolaan lingkungan. Beberapa kendala yang terjadi juga bisa disebabkan, karena saat ini IWIP masih dalam masa pembangunan\/konstruksi.<\/p>\n

Sementara itu, Vice President PT IWIP Kevin He mengatakan, selain hanya pendidikan, kesehatan, maupun infrastruktur. PT IWIP juga selalu mendukung apapun yang bertujuan melestarikan budaya.<\/p>\n

“Kami mohon bantuan Pak Sultan untuk, tetap memberikan masukan kepada kami sehingga apa yang kami lakukan, bisa semakin membawa dampak positif terhadap masyarakat,” pintanya. (tr1\/pur)<\/p>\n
