JAKARTA – Ketua Mahkamah Agung (MA) Hatta Ali menyebut selama 2018 jumlah perkara berhasil diputus berjumlah 17.156 perkara dari 18.544 perkara masuk.<\/p>\n

“Perkara itu termasuk sisa perkara tahun 2017 sebanyak 1.388, dan 17.156 perkara sudah berhasil diputus MA,” tutur Hatta di Gedung Jakarta Convention Center Rabu (27\/2).
\nDengan demikian sisa perkara tahun 2018 berjumlah 906 perkara.<\/p>\n

“Sisa perkara 2018 ini merupakan jumlah terkecil dalam sejarah MA, dan ini merupakan capaian MA yang harus dipertahankan bahkan ditingkatkan,” ujar Hatta, melansir indopos.co.id.<\/p>\n

Hatta menambahkan dibanding edisi 2017, jumlah perkara yang diterima MA mengalami peningkatan 10,65 persen, sehingga jumlah beban perkara meningkat 3,82 persen. Jumlah perkara yang diputus justru mengalami peningkatan 7,07 persen, sedang jumlah sisa perkara berkurang 34,73 persen.<\/p>\n

Menurut Hatta, jumlah perkara diterima tahun 2018 juga yang terbanyak dalam sejarah MA. Namun, dengan jumlah hakim agung yang relatif sama dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya, MA mampu memutus perkara melampaui tahun 2017.<\/p>\n

Penyampaian Laporan Akhir Tahun MA itu dihadiri Presiden Joko Widodo, Wakil Presiden Jusuf Kalla, sejumlah ketua MA negara-negara sahabat yaitu; Ketua MA Singapura Sundaresh Menon, Ketua Mahkamah Federal Malaysia Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Richard Malanjum, dan Ketua MA Belanda Maarten Feteris.
